文言文序數

文言文中，「年」讀為輕聲與否具有辨義功能：讀輕聲具有表「序數」的功能。


例：《蘭亭集序》
「永和九年」：Eng2-ho5 kiu2--lian0（讀輕聲）意為第九年。

例：《Hap-kai（哈該Haggai）2:10》
Tai7-li7-ou ong5 ji7--ni0, kau2-geh8 ji7-chap8-si3 jit8, …
On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, …

例：《I2-se-kiat（以西結Ezekiel）1:1》
Tng sann-chap8--ni0, si3-geh8 chhoe-gou7, …
In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, …

補充：
在文言文裏，「五月」唸「ngou2--goat0」是指「the fifth month」，相當於白話的
「gou7--goeh0」；唸「ngou2-goat8」是指「five months」，相當於白話的「gou7-ge3-goeh8」。
